How to Get VoLTE on Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL 2gb

Requirements to get VoLTE feature.

• Adb and Fastboot Tool
• VoLTE File

Steps to Get VoLTE on Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL.

 

First download the VoLTE file from requirements section.

• Now move it to Adb and fastboot folder. 

• Now connect your phone to USB and enable debugging mode by going into settings>about>Software information>click on Build number 5-7 times and then go back to settings you’ll see developer options then click on enable USB debugging.

 

• Now press Shift key of keyboard + Right Click of mouse and choose Open Command Window Here.

 

 

• Now Command prompt will open then copy paste the below command

adb devices Check your phones screen there should be a pop up. Click on always trust this computer and press ok.

• adb reboot bootloader Now your phone will be on fastboot mode.
• fastboot devices Now it should show some serial number like FAXXXXXXX
• fastboot flash modem volte.img Let it get complete and it will show [OKAY]

How to turn ON DeaD Moblie and Rom Install CoolPad Dazen 1

Unbrick Coolpad Dazen1 Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008, No Fastboot

DISCLAIMER: I have personally revived my Coolpad Dazen 1 (8297L-I00) using this method and tested it twice by hardbricking and unbricking my device before posting it here. I bear no responsibility of whatever that happens to your device/sdcard/computer by using this guide. 

What will you need?
• A dead Coolpad Dazen 1 (8297L-I00)
• A PC/Laptop.
• A 2GB or above MicroSD Card. (2GB would suffice)
• Win32DiskImager
• eMMC image of Coolpad Dazen 1. Download
• Stock Rom with flash tools & drivers. Download
• A little brain and common sense.

Steps:
• Connect your MicroSD card to PC in mass storage mode using any card reader or old phone which supports mass storage mode.

• Format your MicroSD card in FAT32 format, quick format will work.

• Extract Coolpad Dazen 1 eMMC image to a folder. It will be of 200MB after extracting.

• Install Win32DiskImager and write Coolpad Dazen 1 eMMC image to your MicroSD card. Kindly select the right drive letter for your SD card otherwise your will severely damage any other drive or your PC hard disk.

• After successful completion of writing eMMC backup image to SD card, insert the MicroSD card in your device and remove all sim cards. Insert battery into your device now. Do not power it on yet.

• Now you can boot to fastboot mode with the eMMC image on SDCARD.

• Connect your phone in fastboot mode, steps for which are : -
A. Press and hold the Volume Up key
B. With the Volume Up key, connect the phone to your PC/Laptop with USB cable
C. Press volume up to confirm on the first screen.

• Now you can flash the stock firmware with ygdp tools. (There's plenty of guide for flashing with YGDP tools. Google is your friend)

• DO NOT disconnect the device during flashing procedure.

• After the flashing procedure is completed, disconnect the USB cable, remove the microSD card and boot the phone normally by long pressing the Power button.


Your Coolpad Dazen 1 is unbricked now.

Download Asus ZenFone Max Full firmware with VoLTE Support (WW 8939-13.8.26.80)

In the below guide we will provide all the required information for updating your Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) to the latest version manually. Still based on Android Marshmallow, the new update includes VoLTE, update for several apps, fixes bugs and supports SOS call for India.

Important: The below guide is for Zenfone Max ZC550KL and SKU WW. Do not install the firmware on other SKU (CN, TW, etc.). Check it by going to 

Settings > About > software information > Build number and see the software version for WW, CN, JP, etc.

Note: Backup all data you have on the phone before proceeding, as the update process will delete data.

Manually Update ZenFone Max latest version

Step 1: Download stock firmware zip file for ZenFone Max (version 13.8.26.80) from Download and save the zip file on your phone’s internal storage.
Step 2: Software update notification will pop up on your Zenfone screen. Just tap to update.

[If the above method does not helped, you may try the recovery method described below] 

1. Copy and paste the downloaded firmware zip in to the SD card of the phone

2. Boot your phone into recovery mode by pressing and holding Power & Volume Up buttons after switching off the phone.

3. In recovery, select Apply update from sd card, select the firmware zip file.

4. Once the installation process finished, reboot your phone.
